Q. How long is the warranty on AUX Split Level A/C units?
A. All Split Level A/C units carry a 1 Year Warranty on Parts & 5 Year Warranty on Compressor.
Q. No Temperature Display on indoor unit
A. Press the DISPLAY button on the remote control, to turn on the temperature display
Q. The indoor fan keeps running, even if its cold and the compressor has stopped.
A. This is normal operation. The fan will keep circulating the inside air.
Q. What is the Amperage used by the 1Ton unit? On a 3 Ton unit?
A. During Low Function, it will use 3 Amps. During High Function (hot day) it can be 12 Amps
On a 3 Ton unit the High function can be 15 Amps
Q. What type Freon is used?
A. All AUX units use R410 Freon. Safer for the Ozone Layer
Q. Are AUX-USA air conditioners UL certified?
A. All AUX-USA units are AHRI Certified for the Coolant & INTERTEK Certified for the Electronics
Q. Air conditioner not working. [F1] is displayed on the Fan unit.
A. Turn OFF the air conditioner. Disconnect the AC power (circuit breaker OFF). Leave the AC power disconnected for 30 minutes to reset all. Turn ON circuit breaker and turn on A/C unit.
Q. What size air conditioner will I need for a large room?
A. Measure, the Width x the Length, to get the square footage. See general rule chart:
1 Ton unit can handle up to 500 ft2
2 Ton unit can handle up to 1,000 ft2
3 Ton unit can handle up to 1,500 ft2
Q. What is the AC Voltage needed to hook up a Split Level air conditioner?
A. The 36K BTU (3 Ton) unit uses 220 AC Volts
The 24K BTU (2 Ton) unit uses 220 AC Volts
The 12K BTU (1 Ton) unit uses 110 AC Volts
Q. Does the Indoor Fan Unit uses different AC Voltage than the Compressor?
A. NO. The Indoor Fan Unit gets its working Voltage direct from the Compressor Unit
